BORN JUNE 10TH 1965, in Melbourne Australia, he is an eight-time Australian national figure skating champion, first in 1982 then 1984 to 1990. He was a medallist at various international competitions and represented Australia 9 times at World Championships, with a highest placing of 10th.

His overall Worlds results were: 1983 (21st); 1985 (18th); 1986 (22nd); 1987 (22nd); 1988 (11th); 1989 (10th); 1990 (12th); 1991 (17th); 1992 (18th). He also represented Australia in figure skating at three consecutive Winter Olympics: Sarajevo 1984 (19th), Calgary 1988 (19th) and Albertville 1992 (16th).

He then retired from competition to become a professional coach and choreographer and perform in ice shows. He was a Medallist at the US Open Challenge Cup and a Finalist at the American Open. A Principal Skater in the USA and Canada for 5 years, he played the lead role of Puck, the only speaking part, in the live production and TV special of A Midsummer Night's Ice Dream (1992 to ’94).

He was Principal Skater in Cinderella Frozen in Time with Dorothy Hamill’s Ice Capades (1994-95); The Jungle Book with Disney On Ice (1995-97); Starlight Express On Ice (1997) and Xotika (1998-2001) with Holiday On Ice. He was also an Ensemble Skater in Grease On Ice in 1999 and in 2001-02 he was a Performance Supervisor with Holiday On Ice for Colours Of Dance and The Enchanted Christmas Tree.

He retired back in Australia as his 40th birthday approached then returned as performance supervisor of Peter Pan for Holiday On Ice, touring touring 24 countries in a little over two years. He then returned to skating for Holiday On Ice in a comic role in the long-running Energia.

A Level II Certified Coach with Skate Canada and a Level I Certified Coach with Skate Australia, in 2017 he was a full-time coach and freelance choreographer at the O’Brien Group Arena in Melbourne. He works with skaters from Preliminary to Senior International level on their competitive and artistic programs.
